Entering the Track (participants)
Pre-registered Participants: To alleviate traffic jams and ensure a smooth entry into the racetrack grounds, all pre-registered participants must follow the entry instructions included with your confirmation package. Your entry number will identify which gate you should use and will give you the proper directions to get to that gate. Gates A, D, and H, are for participants. Gates A and D are off of US-40, Gate H is off Refugee Road (CR 30). Judged Show, Car Club, Young Guns will have reserved parking and must be pre-registered. They will use the Gate D entrance.
Non-registered Participants (regular and race entries only): For those who have not pre-registered for the event and would like to enter at the gate, follow the above directions to the track and go to the Gate A entrance off U.S. 40 for registration. Show field parking areas will be on the provided map. Drag race entrants also follow the directions to Gate A for registration. After registration, you must be tech-inspected. Tech inspection is located next to the quarter-mile track near the finish line. Drag race entry is available only on Friday and Saturday. There will be NO Sunday drag race registration or tech inspection.
Trailered Vehicles (non-race): Due to space limitations, no show vehicles on trailers will be allowed entry into the pit side show grounds. There will be trailer parking available in the south lot for Judged Show entries. Judged Show participants can purchase a trailer permit for parking on the west side judging field by sending in the $25 fee with their entry. There is a limited amount of space with Lot C being the overflow lot.
Trailered Vehicles (Race): Trailer parking is allowed for those vehicles that have entered the Bracket/Shootout-style classes and circled the trailer required. A tow vehicle permit will be issued with your pre-registered entry. Vehicles racing in the street bracket or the trophy class are not allowed on-grounds trailer parking. Leave the trailer at the motel or in the general parking area. NOTE: There is trailer parking at the Gate H and Gate A lots for participants. Open race car parking is clearly marked on the map and must be adhered to. Trailered race car entries must use the main Gate A before they have been tech-inspected. Once tech-inspected, you may use either Gates A or H, depending on your entry number.
Confirmation Letter and Admission Credentials
All pre-registered participants (Regular, Race, Judge, Car Corral and Vendor) will receive a confirmation package in late July with their admission passes and vehicle window entry sticker. Additional weekend passes are $40 each. Maps and the latest schedule of events will be included. NOTE: Motel reservations for this weekend should be made as early as possible since the Columbus-area facilities tend to fill up fast. As mentioned, all entries require a photo, unless you are entering the same vehicle as last year. Entry is restricted to Chrysler/AMC Bodied & Powered vehicles, and the vehicle must meet the classic/show requirements. No everyday rides or Brand X will be allowed entry regardless of entry credentials received. There are NO PETS or CAMPING ALLOWED ON THE RACE TRACK GROUNDS. The first 1,500 Pre-registered car entry participants must present their confirmation letter at the Mopar Pavilion registration tent (marked by the Helium Balloon), behind the main grandstands to receive their goody bag and event souvenirs.
