If you’re looking for something to do in early April, the Mopars at the Strip event held in Las Vegas is a must attend. The 2014 event was held during great weather, and there was racing, a swap meet, and huge car show—something for everyone. The event features what can only be described as many events within an event, As there is a full-blown Hemi SS/AA shootout, a Dyno showdown, Our own True Street Challenge, and Hotchkis even sets up a full-fledged autocross course in the middle of everything.

Since 2014 marks the 50th Anniversary of the 426 Hemi and the 100th Year of Dodge, spectators were able to take part in this milestone celebration of these two iconic brands in Las Vegas April 11-13th. If you were unable to be there, you missed Tom Hoover, "The Godfather" of the 426 Hemi, who was accompanied by the original members of the Ramchargers.

Not only does the event have everything to offer during the day, But when the sun goes down, the fun continues as there is even an "after hours" show held at the Cannery on Friday and Saturday night. The inside courtyard of the Cannery hotel and casino is filled with Mopars as live bands play each night.
