As reported on cnn.com, Hagerty Insurance, which insures collectible automobiles, motorcycles, and boats, sent e-mails to collectors and enthusiasts inviting them to participate in an online survey. E-mail recipients were also invited to pass the invitation on to friends. The survey asked: what was the most popular TV/movie car? The company collected about 10,000 responses.
Classic musclecars were the big winners, and topping the list was the orange '69 Dodge Charger driven by the Duke boys. Yep, the Charger is still ahead of the pursuit.

Glendora Dodge Racer's PartyEvery year before the NHRA Powerade Winternationals, the folks at Glendora Dodge host a racers' party that dates back to the early '90s. It is held in conjunction with the monthly meeting of the parts and services guilds from all over southern California and normally turns out 20 to 30 dealerships. The car show portion was added 3 years ago for the benefit of local Mopar car clubs and allows Mopar aficionados a chance to meet Mopar sponsored racers before the Winternationals. It has been attended in the past by the likes of Don Garlits, Roland Leong, Scott Geoffrion, Gene Wilson, Gary Scelzi, and Dean Scuza to name a few. This year, Mopar Pro Stock racers Allen Johnson and Larry Morgan were on hand to sign autographs, answer questions, and shoot the breeze. Glendora Dodge-being the class act they are-even fed us!
