Anytime you mention the Mopars at the Strip event in Las Vegas to a Mopar enthusiast, the consensus is that it's an event we all want to go to. Those fortunate enough to make it out each year appreciate the collection of rare show cars, brutal racers, and fantastic scenery.
For 2009 we came in a bit skeptical because we didn't know what to expect. It's no longer a word-of-mouth possibility that the nation is experiencing economic hardships, it's a fact. With this in mind, we thought it would impact the event and it didn't. We were informed that there were more cars pre-registered this year than all who registered last year. That's a big deal!
One of the first things we noticed was the onslaught of new Challengers everywhere we looked. This was a great sight to see simply because nearly all of them were modified. It's great that the aftermarket has had a positive impact with these sick cars. Check out the photos from the weekend to get you drooling and entice you to come out next year.
