During the winter months, you may not see Cody Collins' '72 Charger on the streets of Waterloo, Iowa, but that doesn't mean he isn't moving ahead with it. You see, Cody's car is a work-in-progress (aren't they all?). Cody is our Young Guns Club winner for April, and he'll be getting a gift certificate from the Comp Performance Group, which should help with his work-in-progress.
Cody tells us he bought his Charger when he was in high school, and it's been his daily driver ever since (except for during the winter). He has upgraded its powertrain from a standard 318 to the nicely built-up 360 you see here, and likely will be where a good number of the Comp Performance Group products will go. He's also added a set of Keystone Klassic five-spoke wheels to accent his B-Body's deep maroon color, an upgrade from its well-weathered original finish
You can bet come April when spring returns to the Hawkeye state, one of the surest signs of spring will be when cars like Cody's Charger emerge from their winter's nap, upgraded and ready to go for more spring, summer, and fall cruising.
For more than 32 years, the Comp Cams mission has never changed: Strive to produce the highest-performing products possible, provide customers with superior service, and lead the industry in technological development.
