 As an R/T model with its original...  As an R/T model with its original 440 and interior, this car is certainly rare. The body is in amazing condition having only been painted once in metal flake purple with cobweb stripes.  This Challenger was in Gardner's...  This Challenger was in Gardner's hometown for several years before a coworker told him about it. After contacting the owner and forming a friendship, it was another six years before Gardner struck a deal and pulled his find from the garage.  The previous owner had tons...  The previous owner had tons of documentation for this car, including the sales invoice, two buildsheets, a bunch of timeslips, and some old, blurred photos of the car being raced during the '70s.  Inside, the interior is stock...  Inside, the interior is stock other than the shag carpet that was a typical modification in the '70s.  Since getting his Challenger...  Since getting his Challenger home, Gardner has performed some routine maintenance to make it roadworthy. It now shares a garage with his other Mopars, which are shown here.
