In our new column called Late-Model Spotlight, we thought we would start off by using a car that we actually had the opportunity to drive. When we got a phone call asking if wanted to drive the new Speedfactory SF600R, we couldn't get to Atlanta, fast enough. To say we simply drove this car may be an understatement. Sure, driving the car in traffic shows it to be as docile as a stock Challenger can be, but when the opportunity arises, it becomes an entirely different animal--literally.

While driving in traffic around Atlanta, Georgia, we weren't sure that we were even driving a modified car, which is what Eddie Rosa of Speedfactory told us that they were trying to do. The car idles almost like a stocker, but with a small cam lope. From red light to red light, it's like driving any other new car, but when you get the chance to remove yourself--and the car, from the congestion of traffic, it's amazing how un-docile this car can get.

It doesn't take long for the SF600R to prove that the technology exists to own a daily driver that can develop 600 horses, AND meet all emissions standards for all 50 states. And don't let its modified condition deter you from owning a car like this. Speedfactory delivers all their cars with warranties, so your new car is as protected as it ever was. When asked if we could recommend this car to anyone, our response is simply "get in and TRY to give us a good reason not to"!
