Funny car racing is never a one-man operation. Lou is helped by Rick Kinelski, who serves as crew chief; Karen Z.; and Ed Applegate when the car is in operation. He also thanks friend Joe Alexander, current NHRA champion Frank Manzo, and his parents Nuzio and Rose.
