The 2013 Challenger Dream Giveaway has officially begun! One lucky winner will take home two one-of-a-kind 426 Hemi Challengers plus $50,000 for taxes.

New Beginning Children's Homes (NBCH), a supporter of family-style long-term residential care that provides foster children with safe and faith-centered family atmospheres, is sponsoring the nationwide drawing with entry fees being donated to several worthy children's causes including Smile Network International, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and Camp Boggy Creek.

The first half of the grand-prize consists of a spectacular original 1971 426 Hemi Challenger R/T. The '71 is a documented rare find as it is number 24 of the 58 original pistol-grip, 4-speed Hemi Challengers built. Wrapped in a rich coat of Plum Crazy, the unbelievable Challenger is collector-car material being that it is equipped with the original 426 dual-quad powerplant and is one of only eight radio-delete units produced. The odometer reads 22,000 miles, all of which are believed to be original. Randy Lerner, former owner of the Cleveland Browns, kept the museum-worthy Challenger within his own collection for many years.

Making this beauty even rarer is the fact that 1971 was the final year in which the Hemi was available, and also accounted for the lowest production number of all the Challengers.

The second half of the amazing prize is a 2013 426 Hemi Challenger in the one-of-a-kind Plum Crazier Edition! It has been the recipient of numerous performance and design upgrades courtesy of Dodge and Mopar Performance Parts. Upgrades include a 426cid Edelbrock-supercharged Hemi built by Arrington Performance producing over 700 horsepower, coilover suspension, pistol-grip shifter, one-of-a-kind wheels, a high-flow exhaust system, and upgraded Driveshaft Shop axles. Another feature that sets the beautiful '13 apart from others are the signatures of all of the key Chrysler executives involved in the build of this unique Mopar.

Interior features include a six-way power driver's seat, four-way power lumbar, leather wrapped steering wheel with integrated audio and speed control, LED illuminated gauges with an electronic vehicle information center, illuminated cup holders, and heated leather sport bucket seats.

The pair of 426 Hemi Challengers is set to be unveiled at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on July 12-14.
