It's been more than 30 years since the last car rolled off theDodge/Plymouth assembly line with one of these wings attached, butthanks to First Place Auto Products (FPAP), the version that made itsdebut in 1970 is being offered to the public again. This brand-new,concours-quality kit features cast pedestals, the molded wing, and allattaching hardware. Even if your trunk lid was not equipped with a wing,First Place Auto Products has designed and manufactured templates tocorrectly locate and mount the wing to any '70-'76 Duster, Demon, orDart Sport trunk lid. The material used to manufacture this reproductionwing is an ABS-based thermoplastic (a proprietary blend), which ismolded in gray (as the originals were). It's not fiberglass. No originalMopar wings were ever made of fiberglass. This two-piece wing derivesits rigid stability from the material itself, instead of a secondarysupport such as a metal rod or foam. All the specifications are correct:thickness, taper, length, height, crown, and weight of the wing are "asfactory." The wing is painted in black primer, but can be supplied incorrect, original, black suede Organsol-Black finish. The pedestals aremade of hollow zinc die-cast construction, and the underside bracketsare powdercoated black. Even though the Go-Wing was only offered in1970, First Place Auto Products offers every part needed, includingplacement instructions, to correctly mount this spoiler on any '70-'76A-Body, '70-'74 B-Body, or '70-'74 E-Body. What's more, it's licensedand endorsed by Ma Mopar as an official Mopar authorized reproductionproduct made in the good ol' U.S. of A.
