Next, our Dashcap is slipped on for a trial fit. We notice a slight discrepancy between the window for the VIN and the recess in the stock dash. An outline of where the two line up is marked on the dash to fix the situation. The Dashcap goes on easily, but requires some finesse to remove without distorting. Actually, the fit is so good and snug, it will barely move even without being bonded. View Related Article
