Now for the new stuff. First the rear-window section gets stapled to the tack strips. Though they cost five times what plain staples do, rustproof staples should be used. The new top material has computer-punched holes that mark the alignment to the tack strips. Mark the centerline of the rear window (chalk works well), and line it up with the center of the rear tack strip. Staple along the material's guide holes, stretched tautly from the center and working outward.
