Hemi History Dave Zeuschel
The youngest member of the Hemi Triumvirate was the meticulous Dave Zeuschel. His participation in the Zeuschel-Prudhomme-Fuller (that would be digger-builder Kent) helped win the Smokers Meet in 1962, and one of engines in an Ivo dragster recorded the first 7-second elapsed time. Dave eventually turned his attention fulltime to his first love, vintage fighter aircraft-the P-51 Mustang and F-84 in particular. This rising star died in his F-86 Shooting Star when it ran out of fuel. View Related Article
