Mopar Muscle has gotten our hands on these shots of the 2015 Dodge Challenger taken during testing. The revamped model features styling cues from several other new prototypes on the Detroit test circuit. While much of the sides of the Challenger are exposed, the camouflage of the front and rear fascia suggest serious revisions.

While earlier camouflaging suggested minor changes of the nose of the Challenger, these latest shots suggest something much more sinister. While we had originally noticed the existing grille and headlights beyond the earlier disguise, these shots elude to several changes including new LED accents around new headlights. The outer ring appeared to include amber turn signals, which weren’t caught on camera.

There also appears to be a different hood hidden under newly-applied camo, while the original prototypes were outfitted with the existing hood.

The rear covering begins about midway into the rear fender and covers the entirety of the trunk and rear bumper. Because the taillights are well camouflaged, it would be difficult to surmise what exactly has changed with the rear lamps, but there is not sign of Dodge’s bright LED border – however, it may just be well-hidden for now. The rear bumper has obviously been overhauled, and new sculpting around and above the exhaust tips is visible. While the rear fascia of the current Challenger is clean and simple, the new rear looks to be a bit more aggressive.

The exterior isn’t the only thing that has changed! Though we have no shots of it, we’re told that the interiors of the latest prototypes are heavily camouflaged, so we can make an educated guess and say that things have definitely been altered in the cockpit.

Although the latest Ford Mustang has headed away from the retro look with its newest model, the Challenger appears to stay faithful to its predecessors. We just can’t wait to see it fully unveiled and find out what kind of power we can expect from the newest Dodge muscle car.
