The Chrysler Group put in the first indoor test track at the Dallas/Fort Worth Show (February 19-23) within the 25,000 square-foot display, so that participants will get a chance to ride in the Dodge Ram and get a bird’s-eye view of the show from “Ram Mountain.” Meanwhile just outside the show, attendees can get behind the wheel of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and FIAT offerings for a no-pressure test drive.

The Texas show will debut the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 and 2014 Dodge Journey Crossroad as well as display the awesome 2014 SRT Viper GTS and the award-winning 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel. The 28mpg EcoDiesel, which was named Motor Trend’s “Truck of the Year” and Texas Auto Writers Association’s “Truck of Texas,” will be in good company with the 2014 Ram ProMaster cargo van and Ram 2500 6.4-liter HEMI V-8. Muscle car lovers will be happy to see the new 2014 Dodge Charger 100th Anniversary Edition and 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker model. You can also get a close look at the 2014 Dodge Dart Blacktop.

It’s been a great couple of months for the Chrysler Group. In addition to the awards that the Dodge Ram 1500 EcoDiesel has received, more than 8,000 units in just three days have been ordered – completely filling its initial allocation. Excellent fuel economy and 9,200-pounds of towing capacity has proven a winning combination. Meanwhile the Dodge brand has been named one of Fast Company’s “World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies” (March 2014 issue) for “being part of the conversation, no matter what.” It is quite possible that the successful Ron Burgundy ad campaign played a role in that. Advertising has proven a strong point for the Chrysler Group as of late, claiming the #1 automotive spot in the 2014 Annual YouTube Ad Blitz Poll, which ranks Super Bowl ads.
