Big Dog
Open to all 8.99 e.t. and quicker full and open-bodied drag cars. All vehicles must be Chrysler powered and will run off a .500-second full tree on their dial-in with a breakout rule. Delay boxes, throttle stops, trans brakes, and other approved electronics are allowed. One across-the-line burnout is allowed for all vehicles. There is no minimum weight requirement. Any transmission will be allowed. All vehicles must meet basic racing rules and all safety requirements. Aside from this, anything goes, including nitrous, superchargers, or any other power-adders. Competitors are not eligible to compete in Super Pro, regardless of e.t. (except at Kansas City).
The Original Max Wedge Shootout
Open to '62-'64 Dodge and Plymouth B-Body cars originally available with Max Wedge engines. RB engine block required. The maximum tire width is 10.5W inches. Footbrake class with no electronics or nitrous permitted. Clone cars acceptable. Cars will compete on an index in one of the following classes: MW/A 10.00, MW/B 10.50, MW/C 11.00, MW/D 11.50, and MW/E 12.00. Automatic and manual transmission cars will not compete in separate classes. Drivers will compete in heads-up trophy class run-offs and in an all-run cash eliminator on an index. A breakout rule will be in effect for both races. Cars will be run on a Sportsman Ladder (1-5, 2-6, 3-7, 4-8, and so on). Contestants will qualify based on how close they run to their class index without running quicker than the class index. All Max Wedge contestants must compete in trophy-class run-offs to be eligible to compete in cash eliminations. Competitors are not eligible to compete in any other categories, regardless of e.t.
Nostalgia Super Stock
Open to '69 and earlier Chrysler product A-Body or B-Body two-door or station wagon ('70-'71 E-Body Hemi cars also allowed). All vehicles must be Chrysler-powered. The maximum tire width is 14.5 inches. Footbrake class with no electronics or nitrous permitted. Body must appear stock with the exception of a period-correct hoodscoop. Cars will compete on an index in one of the following classes: S/SA 9.50, S/SB 10.00, S/SC 10.50, S/SD 11.00, and S/SE 11.50. Drivers will compete in heads-up trophy class run-offs and an all-run cash eliminator on an index. A breakout rule will be in effect for both races. Open to all electronics vehicles running 9.00-13.99 e.t. All vehicles must be Chrysler-powered and will run off a .500-second full tree on their dial-in with a breakout rule. Delay boxes and throttle stops are not allowed in or on the vehicle. All vehicles must meet basic racing rules and all safety requirements. Helmets required.
