So you want to restore your Mopar, but you don’t think you have the garage space to do it. You’re afraid that if you tear the suspension out from under your ride, then it will have to sit in the middle of your garage, and nothing else will fit. What’s a guy to do? Well to do a complete restoration correctly, you really do need to remove everything, and this includes the front and rear suspension. There are a lot of viable options out there that you can check into when it comes to tools that allow you to remove the suspension and still have the car be mobile. You can either get a set of body casters, a body cart, a rotisserie, or if you’re a true handy man, you can build your own support system.
Whatever route you decide to go, making your car moveable after the suspension is removed is not a big deal, and we’ll give you a couple of ideas of what you can use.
