In the classic film, The Blues Brothers, Dan Akroyd said it best when describing the merits of a cop car to John Belushi. "It's got a cop motor, a 440ci plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, and cop shocks; it was a model made before catalytic converters, so it'll run good on regular gas."
Enter, Project Stealth Bomber. A 1989 Dodge Diplomat, and former police vehicle. The last of the great Mopar Police vehicles. It features a rear-wheel drive V8 as well as assorted cop goodies, but we plan on making this one a little more suited for the abuse and punishment of added performance. Rebuilding the transmission, suspension, chassis, rearend, as well as a motor transplant. So come watch as we wake up this old law enforcement vehicle.
