3. Once the body was considered straight enough, we covered and sealed the car with PPG’s DP90 primer. This primer is an excellent bare-metal coating, and seals it before the color is applied. A lot of street rod guys call this color Hot Rod Black, and even drive their cars like this. It’s a cool look, but weather can wreak havoc on a primered surface. View Related Article
