Mallory announces the availability of the Comp High Performance Starter for '66-'69 Hemi four-speeds. Mallory's Comp Starter features a healthy 1.7 kW permanent magnet motor. A 5:1 planetary gear reduction delivers high torque in a smaller package, making installation much easier. The solenoid on the Comp Starter can be rotated to any position, ensuring adequate clearance between the starter solenoid and large tube headers. Crash Boxing the Street
Passon Performance's new Slick Shift kit takes the quick shiftingattitude of the famous Chrysler Crash Box and gives it street manners. The kit essentially uses a crash box slider with every other internal spline removed. The difference is that the Passon Performance kit does not have every other synchronizer tooth on the gear machined off, and it uses a synchronizer blocking ring that allows for street driving. The kit can be installed into a stock configuration transmission, with stock synchronizer teeth on the gears. Kits come with two sliders and four bronze blocking rings.
