Dumb-Dumb strips (a rope-like adhesive putty) are used to re-seal the box. We used white for photography purposes for this article, but it's also available in black. Lay the adhesive down along the edge following all the contours of the box. Remember, if there are any gaps, you could end up with either air going through it, or water leaking onto your floor.
