Rear Axle Swaps Bearings

A gentle tap to set the bearing (we used a four-pound sledge and a two-by-four) and the axle is in. As the green bearings are nonadjustable, you can now skip that step. Torque down the bolts to about 30-35 ft.-lbs., install all the new brake goodies, and you're ready to seal it up. View Related Article
