03. Once you have marked the torsion bar support from under the car, remove the new lower transmission mount, and cut the support vertically as shown. There are still spot welds at various places holding the tunnel portion of the torsion bar support to the floorboard. Once you locate and drill these out, you can remove this portion of the support. Inside of the remaining torsion bar support, at the bolt hole-locations, the factory used steel tubes for crush sleeves. This steel is spot welded to the bottom of the torsion bar support. Drill out these spot welds and remove the steel.
