Correct float-level adjustment is a two-step procedure. The float level is gauged with the air horn inverted and the gasket in place. The spec on Edelbrock carbs is 7/16 inch. Here, it's measured with a drill bit. Float height adjustment is made by bending the float arm. Be careful to support the float at the pivot so as not to apply pressure to the needle and seat while bending the arm. View Related Article
