When we ordered our radiator for the Valiant, we changed the outlet to the passenger side so we could use the later-style aluminum water pump. If you do this, be sure you have enough room between the radiator and the fan. A stock direct-mount fan should not have a problem; a clutch fan on the other hand is substantially longer.
