The red arrow points to the notch required in the '65 K-member flange for oil pan clearance. The notch was later enlarged out to the black line for additional clearance. This small notch only cuts through three-fourths of the weld flange and does not compromise the structural integrity of the K-member. This is the only modification that is required if using a '65 V-8 K-member with Schumacher mounts. View Related Article
