This is what happens when your combination makes more power than the block can handle. Notice that this block has been repaired once with a brass plug in the oil galley from the main to the cam bearing. We scrapped this block, but were it continued to be run in a high-horsepower application, it certainly would have failed catastrophically. View Related Article
