We installed a Melling high-volume oil pump to handle lubrication and had the machine shop increase the diameter of the oil pick-up provision in the block to handle a Milodon 1/2-inch pick-up. Combined with a Milodon seven-quart oil pan, this engine's oil system will be adequate for a street engine staying under 7,000 rpm. View Related Article
