For maximum combustion chamber seal, we chose to O-ring the head which involves cutting a groove around the combustion chamber and installing a thin piece of aviation safety wire that protrudes from the deck surface. A receiver groove is then cut in the deck of the block, and a copper gasket forms a tight seal that won't leak or blow like a conventional gasket. View Related Article
