07 We're not sure how much carburetor our engine will need yet, but we took an educated guess and ordered two Holley Ultra HPs in Holley's new hardcore gray color. Once we finish building our engine, we'll dyno it with both the 850-cfm and 950-cfm version of this carb. The Ultra HP is some four pounds lighter than a standard HP series carburetor thanks to its all aluminum construction. The Ultra HP also offers some great features, like 20 percent larger bowls with baffles, a sight glass to check float levels, and a drain plug for easy bowl draining when making jet changes.
