08 Manley makes a great adjustable double-roller timing chain and gears for the late-model Hemi, which comes with oil pump spacers since the oil pump is driven directly by the crankshaft. Unlike older Mopar engines, the late-model Hemi uses a chain tensioner to keep camshaft timing accurate. The Manley timing set allows for camshaft timing changes, or in our case simply to ensure the cam is installed at the proper specs from the Comp cam card. Timing marks on the late-model Hemi are at the top of the cam gear and bottom of the crank gear, instead of the opposite like older Mopar V-8s.
