1. TQ’s come in two sizes, big and bigger. The small version features 13⁄8-inch primary barrels and 800 cfm, while the larger unit utilizes 11⁄2-inch primaries and 850 cfm; both versions carry massive 21⁄4-inch secondaries. For our hot small-block, we went with a number 9004 carb, originally from a 1975 360. The TQ is actually easy to disassemble, and features three main castings. Once the external linkages and metering rod assembly are removed, there are just ten bolts from the top holding it all together.
