Mopar V8 Engine Clean
With the machine work finished and the parts on the shelf, it was time to go to work. Before painting the engine we check that the machine shop properly sized our cylinders. We went through several local shops before finding one that could hold proper tolerances. Mopar V8 Engine Paint
After a thorough cleaning, the block is air dried and prepped for paint. We taped off all the gasket mating surfaces and used an old set of heads, old distributor, and timing cover to ensure the paint doesn't get where we don't want it. After painting, the block was again cleaned with soap and water before assembly.
