To replace the contacts in the mini-starter, start by removing the three screws holding the cover on the relay. This will expose the contacts and components inside the relay. Don't worry about the actual electric motor (on the right in the photo); the motor generally won't need brushes until the relay has gone through at least three sets of contacts. View Related Article
