Removing the crankshaft is as easy as removing the main bearing retainer bolts, tapping the main bearing cap with your mallet, and removing the caps and crankshaft. The caps have cast-in numbers on them so you can keep them in order. Do not get the order of the caps mixed up. View Related Article
