Tied Together
There are very few shops that are as prolific in building Chrysler Pro-Touring cars as Pure Vision. Their tie rods are easy replacements for your battered, stock units that usually are bent, weak, and weathered from use (and often misuse). Machined from 4140 1-inch hex stock, each rod is taped towards the center for greater weight reduction. Swapping out tie rods is a quick process, replacing flimsy 9/16-inch factory rods with Pure Vision's billet 11/16-inch rod. Each rod also features adjuster flats at the outmost edges, allowing for toe adjustments. Each kit comes with left and right hand jam nuts and is finished in black powdercoating.

Shut 'Em Up, Not Shut 'Em Off
If you're running mufflers, it's all about two things for your Mopar: sound and flow. Many mufflers on the market offer superior sound, but at the cost of restrictive flow. other low-restriction mufflers provide optimal performance, but suffer poor sound deadening. Pypes Performance Exhaust has the solution with their Violator muffler. The Violator uses a low-restriction muffler design on the inside, with a unique louvered tube with miniature sound-deadening chambers that don't impede exhaust flow. The result is a two-tone effect and is adjustable by simply reversing the flow of the muffler when installed. install it one direction and flow is passed over the louvers with little restriction, turn it the other way and the louvers slow the flow down, but offer a throaty growl superior to anything on a factory ride.

One Cool Elephant
In our February issue, we made the mistake of saying a featured Hemi-powered Fury had A/C by someone other than Bouchillon Performance Engineering (BPE). Well, the guys at Bouchillon were quick to point out that they are the only manufacturer of a Hemi A/C kit. Originally, the bulky factory compressor was too obtrusive to fit with the already hefty Hemi engine under the hood. Well, with Bouchillon Performance Engineering's new Hemi A/C kits, that is no longer a concern. BPE offers the Sanden compressor with all their kits--a low horsepower-robbing compressor with specialty-crafted mounting brackets that not only mate perfectly to all cast-iron housings and aluminum water pumps, but also fits under all factory air cleaner plates, including the E-Body Shaker scoop. BPE offers almost everything imaginable for a complete install, including hard lines, condensers, dryers, switches and controls.

Rowing the Right Way
Anyone who builds their own car is usually quick to discover certain shortcomings from the factory. the keen eye can tell where corners were shaved to save some money in mass production and cheaper materials used to lower the production overhead. These flaws are everywhere and with every brand. That's how the aftermarket has made such a name for themselves, by offering improved-over-factory parts for comparable prices. Passon Performance is one such manufacturer, providing hard-core, four-speed racers and drivers excellent manual transmissions; most recently a Hemi four-speed overdrive trans. Superior to the factory box, it offers a beefy 18-spline input shaft and a stock 1:1 large journal main shaft. This gearbox is also the only overdrive on the market that requires zero cutting or changing of your driveshaft. You can either get the transmission ready to bolt in, or simply order the kit and use your existing box. All you need are new gaskets.
