Always clean new brake rotors in solvent before installing them. These parts are usually coated in a corrosion inhibitor (oil), which needs to be removed so it doesn't impregnate the new brake pads. If you don't have a parts washer, just spray them down with an aerosol brake parts cleaner. View Related Article
